In this post I want to share with you how I manage to keep a healthy lifestyle despite the daily rush of being a working mom. Staying healthy is part of my beauty regimen and helps me live Iife to the fullest.
It is not necessary to dwell on how bad are habits like smoking, alcohol, not enough rest, etc.., but I want to emphasize that any excess is negative to our health and the skin is the first sign of an unhealthy lifestyle.
This week’s post is because some of you have asked me how to create different looks based on a very basic outfit such as a pair of jeans and a white tee.
Unless you have a formal event, jeans are perfect for all occasions. Personally I suggest dark denim, because it is more versatile and easy to combine, but there are models for everyone. The important thing is to chose the cut that suits to your body type and makes you feel your best.
Imagine one of those days you leave home in this simple and comfy attire (jeans & white tee), and many meetings come up during the day but sometimes because of the hectic pace of life we don’t have enough time to change our clothes, so it is practical to turn this look from day to night or from casual to glamorous, etc… We can easily achieve that by adding different compliments, looking totally different with the same clothes. It is incredible how with some details you can achieve a big change.

A couple days ago, I finally had the opportunity to visit “DVF: Journey of a Dress” exhibit. I said “finally” because it opened in January and extends through May 1st. I couldn’t miss such a wonderful experience celebrating one of my favorite designers, Diane von Furstenberg, who revolutionized the way women dress with her iconic wrap dress, and commemorates its 40th anniversary this year. This incredible and comfortable piece brings femininity and beauty to the woman who wears it.
